1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: When you sign up for our Services, we may collect your name, email address, company name, and other contact details.
• Genie Audition Information: When you request a Genie Audition, we collect your name, work email, firm name, firm website, optional LinkedIn profile, optional context, attestations, consent choices, and request-management activity.
• Social Media Authorization Data: If you connect your social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to our Services, we collect access tokens and permissions required to manage posts and analytics on your behalf.
• Payment Information: For paid services, we may collect billing details, including credit card information (processed securely via third-party providers).

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage Data: We may collect information about your interactions with our Services, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.
• Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience.

1.3 Information From Third Parties

• Social Media Platforms: When you link your Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter accounts, we collect limited profile information, such as username, profile picture, and access permissions.
• Third-Party Services: Data from analytics providers or other partners may also be collected to improve our Services.
• Public Professional Sources: When you request an audition or use research features, we may review information made publicly available on firm websites, professional profiles, regulatory or business directories, event and media sites, and other relevant public sources. We do not ask you to provide confidential client information for an audition.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services.
• Verify, qualify, research, prepare, human-review, deliver, correct, withdraw, and measure a requested Genie Audition.
• Manage social media accounts on your behalf, including creating and posting content.
• Communicate with you, including sending service updates and promotional materials.
• Ensure security and prevent unauthorized access to our Services.
• Comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information in the following ways:

We share information with third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) only with your explicit consent, such as when you connect your accounts.

3.2 With Service Providers

We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers to assist in providing our Services, such as:

• Hosting and database services.
• Payment processors.
• Analytics and email communication providers.
• AI and research providers used to analyze permitted inputs and public professional information or prepare draft materials, subject to contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service.

4. Your Rights and Choices

4.1 Access and Correction

You may access or update your account information at any time by contacting us at support@advisorgenie.com. Audition verification and request-management messages may also provide a private way to correct or withdraw that request. Changing identity or firm details after research begins may require us to restart review.

4.2 Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data by contacting us at support@advisorgenie.com. We will comply with your request unless we are required to retain data for legal or operational reasons.

4.3 Opt-Out

You can opt out of marketing communications by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in our emails or contacting us directly.

5. Genie Audition Processing and Retention

A Genie Audition is prepared from information you submit and relevant public professional sources. AI systems may assist with research, comparison, and drafting, but acceptance and delivery in the pilot are subject to human review. The audition does not send outreach, publish content, launch a campaign, or act through your connected accounts.

Private audition previews are time-limited and may be revoked. Our current operating default is to expire preview access about 30 days after delivery and review nonessential audition data for deletion about 90 days after the last interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for security, legal obligations, dispute handling, an ongoing business relationship, or a request from you. De-identified or aggregated operational measurements may be retained longer.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, account numbers, client lists, private client facts, health information, passwords, or other sensitive or confidential information through the public audition form.

6. Security of Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. SMS/Text Messaging

Messages you send us. When you text our business phone number, we collect your phone number and the content of your messages to provide our conversational AI service. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiries. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by texting STOP. Messages sent on behalf of an advisory firm. AdvisorGenie operates the messaging platform used by independent financial advisory firms. If you provide your mobile number on a lead capture or event registration form hosted by us for one of those firms, and you check the optional consent box on that form, you may receive text messages from that firm about appointment reminders, event updates, educational content, and follow-up communications. Consent is never pre-selected, is not required to submit the form, and is not a condition of purchase or of receiving advisory services. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We record the date, time, source page, and IP address of each consent so it can be evidenced on request.

How we handle mobile opt-in data. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are used only to deliver the messages described above. No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers collected for one advisory firm are never used to message on behalf of another. We share mobile data with service providers such as our telecommunications carrier solely to transmit messages on our behalf, and those providers may not use it for any other purpose.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or by posting a notice on our website. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes were made.
